Process: The 50-0mm raw coal is fed into a three product heavy medium cyclone without desliming, classification, and pressure. The coarse coal slurry is sorted by the coal slurry heavy medium cyclone, the fine coal slurry is sorted by a jet flotation machine, and the flotation clean coal is dehydrated and recovered by a combination of a pressure filter and a pressure filter. The tail coal slurry water is concentrated in a thickener and then dehydrated and recovered by a fast opening pressure filter. The washing water is closed loop and designed to be environmentally friendly.
Special note:
New processes such as non classification and non desliming selection of raw coal, coal slurry heavy medium cyclone separation technology and process, two-stage flotation of coal slurry, two-stage dewatering of clean coal slurry, two-stage concentration and recovery of tail coal slurry water, and desliming flotation are designed by Guohua.
Compared with the original design of raw coal desliming and selection, two product heavy medium cyclone roughing and selection, and Jamson flotation column separation process, the sales revenue of one ton of raw coal after selection increased by 60.83 yuan, and the annual profit and tax increased by 18.8145 million yuan.
The Xinyu Coal Preparation Plant consists of two production systems, the first and second workshops. The process and equipment are shown in Table 1.
After testing, the technical indicators of two heavy medium coal preparation processes and two flotation processes are listed in Tables 2 and 3.

Under the condition that there is no obvious difference in ash content of commercial clean coal, the production rate of commercial clean coal in Workshop 2 is 6.97 percentage points higher than that in Workshop 1, 4.55 percentage points lower than that in middling coal belt, and 20.53 percentage points lower than that in gangue belt. According to statistics from January to August 2012, the water consumption per ton of coal in Workshop 2 was 0.075m3, and the electricity consumption per ton of coal was 5.06kw/h.
